Shipping policy

Order Processing Time & Shipment Tracking

  • Orders are typically processed within 1 - 2 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or US federal holidays.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimated in real-time at checkout and are subject to change. For tracking updates, please check your shipping confirmation email or log in to your account.

Multiple Shipments

  • We fulfill orders from various warehouses worldwide, so your order may arrive in multiple shipments. You will be notified by email when this happens—no additional shipping fee will be charged. Occasionally, multiple orders may be combined into a single shipment.
  • Your card is charged when each shipment is fulfilled. If your order is split, you may see multiple charges, each corresponding to the items shipped.

Variation in Processing Time

Processing times vary for custom items and products shipping from different locations.

  1. Tailor-Made & Custom Products
These items require an extended production time before shipment. The estimated preparation time is noted on the product page and is in addition to the shipping transit time.
  2. Products from Different Inventory Locations
Most standard items are processed within 1-2 business days. As items ship from various locations, this timeframe can occasionally vary. Any significant delays will be noted on the product page or communicated via email.
  3. Multiple-Item Orders
  • Split Shipments: If your order contains multiple items, we may ship them individually from different locations, you will receive your order in multiple packages at different times, with tracking provided for each.
  • Consolidated Shipment: If your order contains multiple items with different processing times, please note that the overall fulfillment timeframe for your entire order is determined by the item with the longest estimated processing time.

Customs Duties & Import Fees

What Is DDP?

For select countries, we ship all orders on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. This means the final price you pay at checkout is all-inclusive and covers all associated import costs.

By utilizing this DDP service, we provide our customers with several key advantages:

  • No Surprise Costs: The final order total includes all applicable import duties, customs taxes, and clearance fees. You will not have to pay any extra charges upon delivery.

  • Faster Customs Clearance: Pre-paying these fees helps to reduce the risk of customs-related delays, ensuring a smoother and faster delivery experience.

DDP method is the standard for all eligible international orders. We do not offer a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) option which allows customers to manage import duties independently.

Please Note: Upon arrival, the buyer is responsible for unloading the shipment and providing us with proof of delivery. For more details, please see the "How DDP Shipping Works" section [1].

What Is Customs Duty?

Customs Duty is a charge applied by the importing country's customs authority on goods entering the country. If required, the customer is responsible for paying it to local authorities. Rates and obligations are determined by your local regulations.

The duty amount is usually based on the value and classification of the items.

What Is Import Tax?

Import taxes are charged by a country or region's customs authority for shipments that are above the de minimis. In most cases, this tax is equivalent to the local sales tax, such as VAT or goods and services tax (GST)

[1] How DDP shipping works

In general, here’s how the DDP shipping process works:

  1. A buyer and seller agree on a transaction and select DDP shipping as the delivery method.
  2. The seller prepares a sales contract, including details about goods purchased, payment terms, delivery timeline, and destination. Contracts also specify that both parties agree to DDP shipping terms.
  3. The seller packages the goods, selects a shipping carrier, obtains shipping insurance, arranges transport to the carrier’s facilities, and pays all handling and shipping fees.
  4. The seller handles export customs clearance, preparing export documentation, managing communications with customs authorities, and paying export customs duties and taxes. Staying informed about changing tariff policies is crucial for accurate cost estimation.
  5. Once the goods clear customs, port employees load the goods onto the shipping vessel.
  6. The shipping carrier transports the shipment to the destination port.
  7. The seller pays to unload the shipment and handles import customs clearance. Sellers also pay import duties and taxes and any additional costs, such as handling or storage fees.
  8. The seller arranges transportation to the destination specified in the sales contract and pays delivery drivers and handlers—often through a local shipping company.
  9. The shipment arrives at the agreed-upon destination and the seller provides the buyer with proof of delivery. At this point, the shipper has completed its portion of the transaction, and risk transfers to the buyer.
  10. The buyer is responsible for unloading the shipment at the destination and providing the seller with evidence of having accepted proof of delivery.

Keep in mind, the official Incoterms rules are much more comprehensive and may vary based on contract, location, and carrier policies. Always review the full rules with a lawyer before committing to a DDP shipping agreement. Reference: https://www.shopify.com/blog/ddp-shipping
